OAS eighth grade classes have participated in mission trips since the Class of 2000.  We just completed our ninth mission trip.  The Class of 2008 built a third tipi for Indian camp at Camp Yorktown Bay and bought a new set of poles for the original tipi built in 2000.  They also painted sealer on the old platforms and poles.

Here are pictures of the Class of 2007's project.  The third tipi (pictured above) is located just behind the tipi on the right (pictured below).

The Class of 2007 completed a second tipi and replaced the worn out canvas of the tipi built by the Class of 2000.  Also they added benches, a fire pit, table, and a water cooler stand. Thanks for your support of OAS mission projects.
