Grades 7 - 8 - Mrs. Tonack
The 7th & 8th graders at Ozark Adventist School are the leaders at our school. We will have ten 7th graders and ten 8th graders - 11 girls and 9 boys. Mrs. Lisa Tonack is their teacher. We offer a strong academic program, opportunities to love and serve God more, physical education and a lot of fun! Our room feels like a big family. We buddy up with the younger kids at our school to read with them every Friday. The 8th grade gets to go on a Mission Trip for a week of school. Our music program is strong - offering a choice of band or hand bells. We have a classroom chaplain that meets with us once a week. Every Wednesday, the whole school meets together at the church for songs and stories. Our school offers an after-school basketball program and we get the opportunity to play other Christian schools in the area. We have 9 computers in our classroom and teach keyboarding skills, how to use MicroSoft Office, etc. In Science this year, we will be studying Life Sciences and will have the opportunity to dissect a few creatures. In Social Studies, we are studying World History and will start off studying Europe and Russia. We do feel our strongest feature at our school is preparing our students for eternity. We want each to have a personal relationship with Jesus and we do all we can to help them develop and nurture that relationship. We are looking forward to a great new year!
